Douglas Wolfe
Fine Arts - Paintings - Drawings

Over the course of a decade, while working full time Douglas Wolfe trained in classical figure drawing and large format figure painting at the Corcoran College of Art & Design.  He now dedicates his working hours to create paintings through applications in successive layers resulting in richly textured images depicting human figures that are not of persons one would meet or see, but of those one would like to imagine, invoking something that makes the viewer wish to return to them time and again.  Applying his classical training, his figure drawings serve as inspiration for his paintings.

Douglas Wolfe's paintings are in private collections throughout the United States and in Spain.
